Coastal 15 minute photo challenge
I know there are a lot of photographers out there who enjoy my 15 minute photo challenge videos, including me. Although I don’t get the chance to make as many as I once did they’re certainly not consigned to the history book… far from it.
If you’re new to my blog then you may be wondering what a fifteen minute photo challenge is. Basically its my way of sharpening my camera skills and training my photographers eye but limiting myself to a fixed amount of shooting time. Not only that but I’m also restricting the geographic area in which I can look for photos which can be a blessing and a curse. The end result is often unpredictable and always challenging, it often takes me out of my comfort zone which is always a good thing to do every once in a while.

Another good one, Gavin. Love the beach huts and the self-portrait.
Im just curious where was that ?
Good question. It’s a place called Saltdean a few miles along the Sussex coast from Brighton.
Thank you for 15 minute photo challenge. It´s very useful and a good for inspiration!!
Congrats.
Such a good video! Thank for your fantastic video
I love your 15-minute photo challenges, Gavin. Am so happy that you still do them. Whether you know it or not, they fill a video niche that is under-represented in photography how-to videos. “Seeing shots” is, in my opinion, completely separate from the discipline of composition. Without first recognizing the potential in a subject, there would be nothing to compose! Keep up the good work!
Ah the good old 10-20mm, I have the same lens (but Nikon mount). I surprised myself a little by how much I use it and how versatile it can actually be.
Loved some of your shots.
Man the coke tin picture was awesome. I would be really happy if u demonstrate the editing of that pic. WOW
